Amazon has extended its Sponsored Brands advertising for KDP authors to Europe, with the UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain added to the scheme which was introduced in the US in November 2020.
Sponsored Brands are cost-per-click (CPC) ads that feature you as an author, a custom headline and multiple books. Ads click through to a custom landing page where you can showcase your titles in an immersive environment.
Eligible KDP authors will see Sponsored Brands available in their ads console, in addition to Sponsored Products.
Sponsored Brands ads can include your brand logo, a custom headline, and up to three of your products. These ads appear in multiple locations on desktop and mobile pages, including above search results.
As these ads are cost-per-click, you only pay when an Amazon shopper clicks your ad. You control how much you spend by setting your budget and choosing how much to bid per click.
