Ingram Content Group is launching a range of consumer marketing services to help publishers reach readers directly.
The company has built up a database of more than a million Verified Readers segmented into book categories that publishers can now use throughconsumer-targeting tools and services.
Three new services are now available and Ingram says more will be made available throughout 2022:
- Marketing Advantage — A customizable, full-service marketing offer that provides digital marketing strategy and execution for frontlist campaigns and backlist catalogs alongside metadata analysis and optimization.
- Reader Insights Reports — In-depth, downloadable audience profiles that enable publishers to identify the who, what, and where of their target readers.
- Marketing Insights — an analytics platform to help publishers find high-value opportunities within their lists.
The Verified Readers database is accessible only through Ingram’s new Reader Reach platform.
Kim Schutte, Ingram’s Director of ConsumerMarketing, says, ‘We want to help publishers grow sales in a rapidly evolving industry that is increasingly reliant on direct marketing.’
Ingram will be releasing additional consumer marketing services throughout 2022. A monthly webinar series for publishers will cover topics such as achieving consumer marketing success, trends in 2022, how to reach the right reader, etc.
