The Kindle Unlimited KDP Select Global Fund for April 2021 rose by $100,000 to $35.5 million while the KENP rate for April 2021 went up slightly to $0.0045 from $0.0044 in March 2021.
A year-on-year comparison for the month shows the April 2021 KDP fund total of $35.5 million is an increase of 17% over the April 2020 KDP fund of $30.3 million. The annualised rise for April indicates that the rate of increase seen since the start of the Covid pandemic might be starting to slow down, compared with March’s annualised rise of 22% and February’s 23% increase. Looking back two years shows the April 2021 fund total represents a 47% increase from $24.1 million in April 2019.
The KENP rate for the UK in April 2021 also saw a small rise to £0.0031 from to £0.0030 in March 2021.
My calculations indicate there could have been around 7.88 billion KENPs read during April 2021, down from 8.04 billion KENPs in March 2021.
