Ebook subscription start-up Oyster Books has started gift subscriptions. They are available for one month at $10, three months ($30), six months ($60), 12 months ($120).

You can have the gift subscription delivered by email with a personal message or print it out and hand it over yourself and hand-deliver yourself or post it.

Smashwords recently revealed earnings details for authors in its link-up with Oyster Books.
