The Kindle Unlimited KDP Select Global Fund for March 2021 rose to $35.4 million from $33.5 million in February while the KENP rate for March 2021 edged down to $0.0044 from $0.0045 in February 2021.
On a year-on-year comparison for the month, the March 2021 KDP fund total of $35.4 million is an increase of 22% over the March 2020 KDP fund of $29 million. The annual rise shows KU is still continuing the strong growth seen since the start of the Covid pandemic as the rate of increase in the fund doubled to 25% over the whole of last year by comparison with 2019 which saw a 12.5 annual rise overall compared with 2018.
The KENP rate for the UK in March 2021 also fell slightly to £0.0030 from £0.0031 in February 2021.
My calculations indicate there could have been around 8.04 billion KENPs read during March 2021, up from 7.44 billion in February 2021, but down from the 8.57 billion KENPs in January 2021, which is usually the biggest reading month.
