Kindle Storyteller contests open throughout Europe with big cash awards on offer for the winners

Kindle Direct Publishing is running Storyteller contests throughout Europe, with the KDP sites in Germany, France, Italy and Spain now open for entries which must be in the respective country’s language.

The German Kindle Storyteller Deutsche Self Publishing Award offers a top prize of €15,000. There is also a special €5,000 prize for the winner of the Kindle Storyteller X award which this year is for non-fiction books and guides. Amazon says the non-fiction books can be on any topic, including biographies, and they want to encourage new and established authors to share their specialist knowledge and expertise.

In France, Les Plumes Francophones Amazon Storyteller award offers a prize of €10,000 for the winning French-language entry. There is also a €10,000 prize for the winner of the Italian Premio Letterario Amazon Storyteller award, and the same amount is on offer for the winner of the Spanish Premio Literario Amazon Storyteller award.

For all the European contests, closing date for entries is August 31, 2022, and books must be published through KDP as ebooks and print books. See the country websites for details of the keywords needed to enter a contest.
